240 Strings 10 Year Birthday Bash
Since 2016, 240 Strings has been the only organization in Portland, ME to provide 100% FREE private classical musiceducation to students unable to afford instruction. Come out for light refreshments, a piece of cake, grab a beer at the cash bar, and hear about all the great things going on at 240 Strings. We will have a raffle for 240 Strings limited edition merchandise bearing our 10 year logo! Raffle entries: $2.00 each, payable at the event or when you RSVP.
Community Clean Up
Earth Day Community Clean-Up at Orange Bike Brewing with Portland Yoga Project
We believe business has a responsibility to show up—for our community and for our planet.
Join Orange Bike Brewing Company and our partners for a local Earth Day clean-up on Saturday, April 25th. This is hands-on, community-driven work—followed by time together to celebrate.
We’ll meet at the brewery, head out to clean-up sites across the neighborhood, then come back for a well-earned pint and live music.

3:30–6:00 PM — Volunteer appreciation (first pint $1 off)

Part of our Brewing for Impact initiative, this small batch is crafted with 100% fonio — an ancient, regenerative West African grain supporting smallholder farms and farmers through our partners Garrett Oliver (Brooklyn Brewery), the Michael James Jackson Foundation, and Pierre Thiam of Yolélé.
No malt. No hops.
Just a clean, direct expression of grain, place, and purpose.

We’re proud to share a big milestone — Orange Bike Brewing is officially on draft at Cowbell Rock Row.
Join us as we celebrate our first-ever draft launch at Cowbell, featuring two of our beers pouring side by side. This marks a meaningful step forward as we continue to expand access to world-class, dedicated gluten-free beer across Maine.
Live music from 808 Band will set the tone for the evening — bringing energy, community, and a great soundtrack to the celebration.

New Beer Release - Session IPA (Lemondrop)
Pouring this Friday at Orange Bike Brewing Company.
This latest release in our rotating Session IPA series highlights Lemondrop hops, bringing a bright pop of fresh lemon with subtle tea-like notes. Built on our light base, it’s crisp and refreshing.
Our Session IPA series is all about exploration — the same base recipe with new hops each time — giving us space to experiment, stay creative, and make sure no good hop goes to waste.
Available on draft starting Friday in our Portland tasting room while it lasts.

Palaver Strings Special Event Open Rehearsal Conversations
Palaver Strings Open Rehearsal at Orange Bike — Monday, April 13
We’re hosting Palaver Strings for an open rehearsal ahead of their upcoming performance at Mechanics' Hall on Thursday, April 16.
Palaver is a Grammy-nominated, musician-led string ensemble based in Portland, with a mission to strengthen and inspire community through music. Their collaborative model—shared leadership among artists—centers connection, education, and amplifying underrepresented voices.
This isn’t a formal concert.
It’s an inside look at the creative process—rehearsal, conversation, and the work behind the performance.
Their upcoming program, Dancing Home, explores themes of heritage, belonging, and resilience through global dance traditions—from Syrian folk melodies to tango—using music as a way to bring people together.

A portion of draft sales will support Maine Audubon and their work protecting native plants and habitats across Maine. This summer, that work shows up in our own backyard as we build a native plant and pollinator garden in our beer garden.

We’re honored to have Alan Pugsley—the “Johnny Appleseed of craft beer” and the legendary brewer behind Orange Bike—on site alongside Mike Dickson and the Dickson family, longtime stewards of The Great Lost Bear. Both will share a few words during the evening.
